Valencia Basket seeks to consolidate its improvement on the UCAM Murcia's court
Although its participation in the Euroleague has already ended, the calendar does not give Valencia Basket any rest with another double-game week in the Endesa League starting with the visit to UCAM Murcia’s court (Wednesday 19, 8:30 p.m., Palacio de los Deportes de Murcia, Movistar Deportes 3) in a acb round 28 game.
The Taronja squad will try to consolidate the improvement after the last Sunday win at a court that has historically been good at and where they have won five of their last six visits, but where they have always suffered a lot to be able to prevail and tight and exciting finishes have become the norm in the clashes between these two teams in Murcia.
In addition, Álex Mumbrú's men will try to take the sporting revenge of the game of the first leg, in which a triple by McFadden tipped the balance in favor of the university team by 74-75 in a game that will mean the first return to this gym American power forward James Webb III.
Sam Van Rossom, Klemen Prepelic and Xabi López-Arostegui, who continues to have discomfort in the plantar fascia of his left foot, still sidelined.
Forward Millán Jiménez continues with his set-up between the Taronja first team and the LEB Plata second team, but has traveled with the team to Murcia and could return to the roster after his left ankle operation for the first time since the November 6th. Also, one of the three non-EU players will not be able to play this game, with Jared Harper being the one currently deactivated.
Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 8th position of the Endesa League with 14-13 in the standings.
